How much do LinkedIn ads cost, and how do I lower cost per lead?
LinkedIn's help pages set the minimum daily budget at $10 for any ad format, and a $100 minimum lifetime budget for new campaigns. What you pay per lead is set by auction, and it is normally well above Meta — LinkedIn charges a premium for job-title targeting.

Why is cost per lead so high?
You are paying for who the person is, not just for their attention. Targeting by job title, company size or industry is the whole reason to be on LinkedIn, and it is priced accordingly.
That is fine if a single client is worth hundreds or thousands of dinars. It is a poor trade if you sell a KD 15 product — for that, Meta or Google will almost always be cheaper.
How do I bring the cost per lead down?
- Widen the targeting. Stacking title + seniority + industry + company size shrinks the audience until the auction gets expensive.
- Use lead forms instead of sending people to a website. Fewer steps, fewer drop-offs.
- Choose the right bid strategy. LinkedIn's help pages list maximum delivery, cost cap and manual bidding — cost cap lets you set a ceiling per result.
- Fix the offer before the settings. A demo request converts far worse than a useful download.
- Give it enough daily budget to learn. At the $10 floor you will collect too little data to judge anything.
Should a Kuwaiti business use LinkedIn at all?
Only for business-to-business. DataReportal's Digital 2026 report put LinkedIn's advertising reach in Kuwait at 1.30 million in October 2025 — real, but much smaller than Instagram's 3.00 million or TikTok's reach.
So: B2B services, recruitment, high-value equipment — worth testing. Anything consumer — start where the people are, and understand what a good cost per lead looks like before you compare platforms.
