Is digital marketing worth it for a small business?
For most small businesses, yes: you can start with a small daily budget, reach people where they already spend their time, and measure what every dinar brings back. It stops being worth it only when it's run without a clear offer or without tracking results.

Can a small business afford it?
You don't need a big budget to start. Meta's Business Help Center describes a daily budget as the average amount you're willing to spend per day, suggests starting with at least $5 a day, and advises running for more than six days. You can change or pause the budget at any time, so the risk is controlled.
Are my customers actually online?
In Kuwait, almost everyone is. DataReportal's Digital 2026 Kuwait report counts 5.00 million internet users at the end of 2025 (99.0% of the population) and 4.44 million social media user identities in October 2025 (87.9% of the population).
Why is it easier to judge than traditional ads?
Because you can measure it. Unlike a billboard, an online ad reports how many people saw it, clicked, messaged you or bought. That means you can stop what doesn't work and put more into what does.
| What you can see | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Cost per click or message | Is the ad attracting interest? |
| Cost per lead or sale | Is it making money? |
| Which ad brought the sale | Where to spend more |
When is it not worth it?
When the offer is weak, the replies are slow, or nobody checks the numbers. Ads bring people to you; they can't fix a product nobody wants. Start with how much budget you need for Meta ads, then learn how to know which sale came from which ad.
