How do I target Kuwait in Meta ads?
Set the location to Kuwait at ad set level, choose "People living in this location", and then stop narrowing. In a market this size, extra targeting layers usually cost you more than they save.

How do I set it up?
- In the ad set, open Audience and clear any saved audience
- Under Locations, add Kuwait
- Change the drop-down to People living in this location — the default also includes visitors and recent travellers
- Set the age range to who actually buys from you, and leave the rest alone
- Add interests only if you have a strong reason, and check the audience size stays comfortably large
Why shouldn't I narrow further?
Because the pool is already small. DataReportal's Digital 2026 report put Facebook's ad reach in Kuwait at about 2.45 million and Instagram's at about 3.00 million as of October 2025. Every filter you add cuts into that, and a small audience means a higher price per person — see how Meta ads are priced in Kuwait.
What are the common Kuwait mistakes?
| Mistake | What it costs you |
|---|---|
| Leaving the default location setting | You pay to reach tourists and people in transit |
| Stacking many interests | Audience shrinks, cost per result rises |
| Targeting by language | Filters by app language, not reading ability |
| Excluding your own customers by habit | Repeat buyers are often the cheapest sales |
| Using the same audience for every campaign | Cold and warm buyers need different ads |
What about Advantage+ audience?
Meta's automated audience option treats your settings as a suggestion and looks wider when it expects better results. On a small budget it often performs better than manual interests — worth testing against your own setup rather than assuming.
