What are Google Shopping ads, and can Kuwait stores use them?
Google Shopping ads are product ads that show a photo, title, price and store name before anyone clicks. Google Merchant Center's supported-countries list includes Kuwait, so Kuwait stores can run them — but check the list yourself before launching, because Google updates it.

What makes Shopping ads different?
Google Ads Help says Shopping ads "use your existing Merchant Center product data (not keywords)" to decide where your ads appear. So instead of writing ads and picking keywords, you send Google a product feed, and Google matches your products to searches.
Because shoppers see the price and picture up front, the people who click already know roughly what they're getting.

What does Google's list say about Kuwait?
Google Merchant Center's page of supported languages and currencies says Shopping ads and free listings are supported in the countries it lists, and Kuwait appears as "Kuwait | Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD)". On that same page, a dagger symbol marks countries where the Shopping tab itself is available to users; when we checked in September 2026, Kuwait did not carry that mark. So read the page for the current details before you plan around the Shopping tab.
How do I get started?
- Create a Merchant Center account and add your product feed (Shopify Help says its Google & YouTube channel syncs your products to Merchant Center).
- Fix any product disapprovals Merchant Center flags.
- Link Merchant Center to Google Ads and launch a Shopping or Performance Max campaign.
- Set up conversion tracking so you can see sales, not just clicks.
