What is dynamic creative in Meta ads?
Instead of building one finished ad, you hand Meta the parts — several images or videos, several headlines, several bits of text — and it assembles combinations and serves each person the version it thinks will work best on them.

How does it work?
Meta says that when your ad starts running it automatically creates variations with different text combinations, media enhancements and compositional changes, when it's likely to improve performance. Advantage+ creative goes further, showing a personalised variation to each person based on what they're most likely to respond to.
What do I actually upload?
| You provide | Meta decides |
|---|---|
| Several images or videos | Which one each person sees |
| Several headlines | Which headline goes with it |
| Several primary texts | The combination shown |
| The offer and the link | Minor crops and enhancements, if allowed |
When is it worth using?
- You have genuinely different pieces to give it, not three edits of the same photo
- You're early in testing and don't yet know what works
- You're running to a broad audience where different people want different things
When is it the wrong tool?
When you have one image and one headline — there's nothing to combine. It also makes reading results harder: you learn that the ad set worked, but less clearly which single idea did. If you need a clean answer about which message wins, run a proper test instead — see how to A/B test ads.
Does it replace good creative?
No. It rearranges what you give it. A shuffle of five weak images is still five weak images — see what makes a good ad creative and how to make an ad with AI.
