How do I run an ad on Google?
You create a Google Ads account, pick a goal, choose a Search campaign, add the words people type when they need you, set a daily budget, and add billing. The whole thing takes under an hour — getting it profitable takes longer.

What are the steps?
- Go to the Google Ads homepage and click Start now to create the account
- Choose your advertising objective — Google uses it to recommend a campaign type
- Pick the campaign type. For most Kuwaiti service businesses that's Search
- Add keywords: type or paste them one per line, or use Get keyword ideas
- Write the ad, pointing at the page that answers that exact search
- Set an average daily budget — you can change it any time
- Add billing: choose your billing country, which Google says decides the payment options and currency you get
What should I fix before switching it on?
- The landing page. A search ad sends someone with a specific need. If the page doesn't answer that need in five seconds, you pay for nothing — see what a landing page is
- How you'll know it worked. Set up conversion tracking first; see Google Ads conversion tracking
- Your keyword list. Broad words spend fastest and convert worst
- Negative keywords, so you stop paying for "free", "jobs" and "salary" searches
Is Google right for me at all?
Only if people actually search for what you sell. Google catches demand that already exists; it doesn't create it. If nobody types your product's name, social ads suit you better — see the main types of online advertising.
What will it cost?
You set the budget; the auction sets the price per click. See Google Ads cost in Kuwait.
